Kelly Anderson

Kelly Anderson is a lecturer in the Study of Women and Gender Program at Smith College and an oral historian at the Sophia Smith Collection, where she has worked with the Voices of Feminism Oral History Project for the last seven years. She has been conducting oral histories as part of her academic research and with community-based groups for over 20 years.  Her acedmic training is in women’s and LGBT history and she is currently completing a dissertation on lesbian leadership in the movements for gender and sexual liberation, based on the oral histories collected under the VOF Project. Anderson’s courses in oral history include women and activism, lesbian lives, and queer oral history.
